Detangling Nicely.

Herbal Essences

Hydralicious self targeting conditioner

My favorite

conditioner For Detangling.....:)

Great to co-wash... I think this is a good cheap conditioner It will not contribute to buildup. It moisturizes well, distributes easily, and Detangles nicely.

When detangling natural hair, gently start from the ends. Use wide tooth combs and finger combing together. Wide-tooth combs do not detangle natural hair perfectly. Sometimes you have to put down the comb and use your fingers, water and conditioner to dismantle a knot. The key is to try to attack the half-hitch knot when it’s loose rather than making it tighter with a comb.

Shampoo the scalp not the hair. By shampooing the hair, more tangles are created leading to more knots.

How To:

1. Section the hair. Use a rat-tail comb to divide your hair into sections. The number of sections may range from four

to eight, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. Use hair clips to keep the rest of the hair out of

the way.

2.  Spritz if needed. It's a good idea to have a spray bottle handy filled with water or a water/oil mixture. Adding

moisture to your hair can make it easier to comb through.

3.  Using a Wide-tooth comb,Tangle Teeze, Denman i use a wide-tooth comb... begin at the bottom of the first section of hair. While using one hand to comb, use the

other hand to firmly hold the section of hair near the bottom. Slowly work the comb through until the bottom is

free of tangles before moving up the hair.

4. Continue to spritz hair if it dries and you need additional moisture.
Work your way up the hair section to the root, making sure you can comb freely down to the ends. Once a section is

detangled, clip it out of the way or loosely twist or braid it to prevent it from tangling again. Repeat this for

all sections of the hair.
